Privacy Policy
aarzuresorts.com · Last updated 14 October 2026
This privacy policy explains how Aarzu Resorts & Cafe (“Aarzu”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit aarzuresorts.com. Personal data means any information about you from which you can be identified, as described in India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”). Please read it to understand how we handle your information.
What personal information do we collect?
This website has no forms, accounts or newsletter, so we do not ask you to type in personal details here. We receive:
- How the site is used, through Google Analytics and Google Ads: the pages you view, the buttons you tap (such as “Request a reservation” or WhatsApp), your device and browser, your approximate city or country, and how you found us, such as a search or an advertisement. We see this as totals and trends, not by name.
- Your WhatsApp number and messages, if you choose to message us.
- Technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and browser, which Cloudflare, our hosting provider, uses to deliver and protect the site.
When do we collect information?
When you browse the site, tap a button on it, or message us on WhatsApp. Reservations are made on our booking provider’s page, which opens in a new tab, not on this website.
How do we use your information?
- To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
- To measure our advertising and, where we turn it on, to show our advertisements to people who have visited before (remarketing).
- To reply to your enquiries and help you plan your stay.
We do not use your information for any other purpose without telling you first.
How do we protect your information?
- The site is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
- The website itself does not store any personal data.
- WhatsApp conversations stay in our WhatsApp Business account, which only our team uses.
- We never ask for card or bank details on this website. Payments are handled by our booking provider.
Do we use cookies?
Yes. Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser so it can recognise that browser on a later visit. Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies help us put together totals about site traffic and see which advertisements work. They usually last up to two years unless you clear them sooner. The site also keeps one small note in your browser, that you have seen the opening animation, so it is not shown again. It contains nothing personal.
You can set your browser to warn you before a cookie is saved, or to turn cookies off. Each browser is a little different, so look in its Help menu. The site works just as well without them.
Do we share your information?
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal data. We share it only with the services that help us run the site, each under its own privacy policy: Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads), Cloudflare (hosting), our booking provider and WhatsApp (Meta). Some of them may process data outside India. We may also disclose information where Indian law requires it.
Third-party links
Our booking page, Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps are run by other companies. When you follow a link to them, their own privacy policies apply.
How can you opt out?
- Turn off Google Analytics in your browser with Google’s opt-out add-on.
- Choose how Google advertises to you in Google Ads Settings.
- Block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
What are your rights under Indian law?
Under the DPDP Act, you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect anything done before you withdraw it);
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you in the event of your death or incapacity;
- raise a grievance with us.
To use any of these rights, contact us as shown below. We will respond within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
How long do we keep it?
Only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires. Our Analytics reports keep data for a limited period, and we keep WhatsApp conversations only as long as they are useful for your stay and our records.
Children
This website is meant for adults planning a stay and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
